Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Another recipe, from another day of baking due to the ice storm.  We were starting to run low on baking supplies, but I had all of the ingredients for this recipe.  In fact, we were able to use some of our left over Easter M & M's.  These were super good with a cup of coffee!

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup margarine, melted
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons water
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
3 cups oatmeal
12 oz chocolate chips
1/2 cups chopped nuts, I omitted

Add melted margarine to sugars.  Mix well.  Add water, eggs, and vanilla.  Beat well.  Add dry ingredients, and fold in oatmeal, chocolate chips, and nuts.  Chill for 30 minutes.  Drop onto cookie sheets and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
