My hometown is celebrating their 125th birthday (if that's what you call a town's beginning) this weekend. Caroline and my dad are planning on being in the parade and throwing candy. Caroline is super-excited about both of those things.
Over the weekend my mom pulled out an old-timey centennial dress. The dress was a costume she wore when she was little. As you can see it's a little big on Caroline but she loved it. Don't you think she looks just like Laura Ingalls?
After getting dressed up, Caroline had to go show my dad's dog Tippy.
oh my gosh, girl! you have to read her those books! sophie loves them! she cried tonight because i had friends here and didn't read to her! love the get-up C is sporting...very Ingall-esque :) oh, and i'm following you now :) i keep forgetting you have a blog...so now your posts will pop up in my reader! have a great night!!
