During the last blizzard, Aunt Beckie gave us a great activity idea - making bird feeders. We improvised a little...coating bagels with crisco and then dipping them in crushed up Raisin Bran and flaked coconut. (I know, I don't think birds eat any of these things...)
Caroline loved the idea of helping feed the birds during this storm.
We bundled up and attached our bird feeders to a couple of low-hanging tree branches. (a few feet above Caroline's head)
