Even though it's not technically her birthday yet, we celebrated Caroline's third birthday this weekend.
The party was pretty low-key, but featured a pretty awesome cupcake. For the cake, I used my favorite chocolate cake recipe, but made them into cupcakes. I'm a big fan of Pioneer Woman, and she has never steered me wrong recipe-wise. When she said this was the best frosting ever, I knew I would have to try it. It really is delicious! It's not overly sweet and it's light and fluffy. Since I didn't change anything, here's a link for it. (I did make the frosting purple for the birthday girl!)
