Whew! We just got back today from a fun-filled camping weekend at Wylie Park in Aberdeen. Yes, we camped less than 10 minutes from our house. We were invited by our friends the Crawfords (Glen, here's a shout out to you and your family!) We had a great time - the weather was perfect and the facilities there are top notch!
Caroline played a lot with Garrett and Claire, and all of the other campground friends. There were a ton of little kid motorized vehicles there. I'm thinking that Caroline will need one soon...
Saturday afternoon the kids played with water to stay cool. The adults enjoyed cold frosty beverages to beat the heat.
Saturday night we were invited to a Father Day's potluck with the entire Crawford family. I think we will need to arrange some type of marriage between Caroline and Garrett to ensure future potlucks... I forgot to take pictures of the food until after we ate, so here's a photo of the baked beans that Heidi made. They were fantastic and I hope she shares a recipe with us soon!
